My name is Kimo. Jesse is in New York presently, so I decided to make some updates. Give you some long-overdue facts.
Item 1: As you may have guessed, we’re sitting on the LANNCET FLUKKE album. No one is quite sure why, so I’ll be releasing it, probably tonight.
Item 2: Elliot and Dylan have been excommunicated. That leaves Jesse as the sole member of LF (not that he wants you to know that, heh). Also, Chelsea, our resident artist and diamond heart, recently left for home. You can see her work on the TKJK release, as well as here.
Item 3: The Attic™ was recently robbed by children. We’re moving to a new attic this Fall.
Item 4: Believe it or not, Jesse and Kira are hard at work, beating out songs on a regular basis. The current plan is for a full-length concept album called “Megan McGill’s Heart Failure”, after a Portland friend of ours. We’re raising the bar on recording quality for this one, so look out.
As for myself:
I am a sound designer, music educator and writer. I produce most of the music here, and I built/maintain the website. I work off and on with Kira on her comic, Skookum Chuck, or whatever it’s called now. In 2009 I collaborated with Jesse to devise the fictional identity Jesse Thomas Kimo Knowles (get it?). I haven’t done any serious projects since then, but one of these days, who knows…
More music & updates sooner than you think (but probably later than you’d like). I’ll leave it to Jesse & Tom to reveal what they’re up to in NY, since I’m not precisely sure myself.
